  • Include all supported files, including all high-resolution files of logos, photos, and trademarks
  • Include all fonts in a separate folder
  • Create product at finished size
  • Include 1/8” bleeds on all four sides if applicable
  • Bitmap resolution at 600
  • Continuous tone resolution at 300
  • Max density (total area coverage) is 300%
  • Convert any spot colors not intended to print into CMYK. RGB elements must be converted to CMYK.
  • Ad creative containing spot colors should be built as a 5-color file and have approval from the publisher before submission.

 

CIRCULATION

The controlled circulation of the NFTJ gives you the marketing opportunities to reach the best prospects for your products on a consistent basis. Advertisers enjoy a broad consumer base by reaching numerous types of fitness industry facilities. Our database includes: fitness centers (independents, mini chains and large chains), health clubs, hospital/wellness centers, athletic clubs, country clubs, military bases/government, strength coaches & director of rec centers for all colleges/universities, city/county rec & sports centers, YMCA’s, Jewish Community Centers, and all professional sports teams (NBA, NFL, MLB & NHL).

TERMS: NET 30 DAYS

Advertising Agency discounts will be nullified if payment is not received within thirty days, and unpaid balances shall bear interest of 1.5% per month (18% per annum).

Advertising must be inserted within one year of the first insertion to earn frequency discounts. Rates are based on the total number of insertions or issues used. Multiple units of space in one issue may be used to earn frequency discounts. 2-page spreads are counted as two units for purposes of determining frequency. Unfilled contracts incur a short rate to the next highest earned rate.

In the event of non-payment, the Publisher reserves the right to hold the advertiser and/or agency jointly or severally liable for such monies as are due and payable to the Publisher. The Publisher shall be entitled to recover its reasonable attorney’s fees and all court costs incurred if litigation shall be necessary to collect monies owed.

The Publisher will not be bound by any conditions, printed or otherwise, appearing on any insertion order or contract when they conflict with the terms and conditions of this rate card.

All copy is subject to approval by the Publisher.

The Publisher has the right to add the word “Advertisement” to any ad that creates the illusion that it is editorial matter.

Positioning of ads is at the discretion of the Publisher except where specific positions are contracted for.
